Starting in 2014, I found another patron for my research cartoons. I had attended the ACRP trade show, and presented a workshop on using humor to liven up otherwise boring presentations on research ethics and regulations. Norman Goldfarb of FCR contacted me, wanting several cartoons for his newsletter. We used some of his ideas, and more of my own to illustrate concepts he wrote about in his column “What Am I Missing, Here?”
